Duties Description:As an E-5 Sergeant, served as Infantry Team Leader and Squad Leader, responsible for the leadership, training, and welfare of a
12-Marine squad. Assigned to Mobile Assault Platoon (MAP) and Combined Anti-Armor Team (CAAT) units—mechanized infantry elements specializing in rapid response, fire support, and anti-armor missions.
Operated and maintained up-armored Humvees and other heavy tactical vehicles, routinely mounting and deploying heavy machine guns (M2 .50 cal, Mk-19) and anti-armor weapons (TOW missile systems, AT-4 rockets) in support of battalion-level ground operations during deployment in Iraq.
