    Role Description:

    • Coordinated and oversaw the implementation of the Neighborhood Stories Program, a volunteer initiative that solicited and recorded oral histories from populations across New York City.

    • Managed the WomensActivism.NYC project, including volunteer cultivation and training, in order to collect and make available the stories of inspiring women on the initiative’s digital platform.

    • Planned, coordinated, and conducted training with volunteer candidates to familiarize them with the systems, processes, and expectations of various programs.

    • Conducted outreach across several platforms (including phone, email, and social media) in order to recruit potential volunteers and grow the audience for the agency’s message and initiatives.

    • Maintained electronic communication with the current cohort of volunteers across several initiatives, keeping them apprised of the agency’s needs, its expectations, and the state of various volunteer programs presently offered.
