Admin Assistant to Public Affairs team, financial firm

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Public Affairs & Marketing Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will provide support to a team of professionals in the Global Public Affairs group. This team manages internal and external communications for the firm, including interactions with media. Responsibilities will include managing complex calendars, answering calls and acting as gatekeeper, acting as back-up support for other senior professionals, booking conference rooms for internal and external meetings, completing detailed expense and out of pocket reports including tracking receipts and project codes, coordinating travel arrangements including flights, visas, cars, hotels, and other reservations, creating and/or proofing briefing memos for media engagement, and working on various ad-hoc projects. Must have at least 4 years of administrative work experience in a larger organization that has robust operating procedures. The ideal candidate will work well in a team-driven working group, is highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Hours are 8/8:30am-5:30/6pm. Salary is up to $80K + paid OT + bonus + competitive benefits including a daily lunch stipend, 401K, generous vacation days and more!
