Administrative Assistant

DescriptionPosition Summary: This position will provide high level administrative support to the Distribution Center Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist manager in daily scheduling of deliveries and shipmentsAssist manager in monitoring, evaluating and replacing inventoryInteract with customers on a daily basis via phone, email, and face-to faceProcess invoices and review various accounting files and recordsPrepare special and standard reportsPerform general clerical work such as data entry and maintenance, filing, ordering supplies, answering phones, etc.Word processing and extensive use of Excel spreadsheetsMaintain personnel and customer filesMaintain billing information by tracking and processing customer paymentsAdditional duties as assigned by managementRequirementsQualifications & Skills:Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to operate standard office equipmentAbility to prioritize mail and telephone calls for manager's review and/or actionExperience with schedulingStrong attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred (as applicable)Education: Minimum High School diploma or GED Experience: Four (4) years related business experience with two (2) years as an administratorSystems: Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteTravel Requirements: Ability to travel to other DC locations as requiredPhysical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use
