Jr. Loan Processor-Closer - Agency Multifamily Finance
Basis Investment Group is looking to hire a Junior Processor/Closer to join its Multifamily Finance production team.
- Work with loan originators, underwriters, processors, analysts, to obtain and track documents required to underwrite and thereafter close commercial real estate loans
- Track underwriting and closing pipeline in Salesforce
- Assist processors with assisting borrowers with completing Freddie Mac forms 1115, 1116, loan application addendums and upload all documents to DMS for underwriting with Freddie Mac
- Work with underwriters and processors on submission of documentation for loan approval. Set-up site inspections, initiate and track orders for appraisals, environmental site assessments, physical inspection reports, preliminary title reports, credit reports and other third-party reports to ensure timely receipt Track deposits and expenses for each deal.
- Assist in drafting and creating electronic loan files for warehouse lender requests
- Conduct pre-closing file reviews and facilitate approvals to close
- Receive and audit executed closing documents and transmit original documents to third party original document custodian
- Follow-up as required to obtain title insurance policies, recorded mortgage and other security instruments, and other post-closing documents
- Prepare loan boarding input documents for loan servicer and transmit completed files to internal loan file custodian
JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
· College degree preferred, but not required
· 1 to 2 years of experience preferably with Agency lending platform(s)
· Familiarity with Freddie Mac systems
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and Word
· Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated worker with the ability and flexibility to work in a dynamic, team setting as well as independently
