Analyst - Investment Banking-Chemicals, Energy & Power, TD Securities
- Work within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior banker;
- Develop a general understanding of TD’s product offerings;
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the chemicals industry as well as the overall financial markets;
- Research and analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities;
- Assist with the valuation of assets and companies (both private and public);
- Assist with the maintenance of comparable trading and precedent transaction databases;
- Perform complex financial and M&A modeling;
- Prepare client presentations and marketing materials;
- Maintain confidentiality of client information;
- Establish an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank.

Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics preferred
- Series 7, 79 and 63 (can be completed after start date)
- Applicants should have completed an undergraduate degree;
- Well-organized, detail oriented and able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines;
- Superior financial and analytical skills;
- Previous investment banking experience preferred but not required;
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities;
- Proactive and highly motivated. Able to work independently and in a team environment.
