Sonepar's founder, Henri Coisne, received training at a
flying school in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and bravely fought to free his home
country of France from Nazi occupation during World War II. He continued his
military career, rising from a pilot to commander of the French 2/92 Aquitaine
squadron. Henri retired from the army in 1962 to join the business world,

Our Military/Veteran Employee Resource GroupSonepar's military
employee resource group, MERGE, has the mission to embrace our proud community
of Sonepar USA employee veterans, reservists, family members, friends and
supporters. MERGE provides community service opportunities, veteran
